Fry Laboratories for DNA Testing of Fungus and Protozoan

Stephen Fry, MD is the Director of Fry Laboratories and a personal friend of Dr. Marra’s. He has a background in microbiology as well as a 30 year career as a clinician. His particular interests include the development of rapid DNA detection of fungi and protozoan as well as algae. Global warming has likely significantly affected the microbial populations of all organisms, but in particular fungi. In my practice, I see a fair amount of fungal infections that are NOT Candida. By identifying that they are present in the microbiome, we can work to eliminate their disease causing affects and return the microbiome to a balance healthy state.
