Do you accept Insurance?
We do not accept insurance. The office does provide insurance compliant superbills at every appointment that you can submit yourself. Generally, most insurance companies will reimburse you some amount for your office visit, depending on your insurance carrier and your policy. Please contact your insurance carrier directly for details.
Is Dr. Marra accepting new patients?
Yes, currently Dr. Marra is accepting new patients. Please call our office at (206) 299-2676 to schedule your new patient consult.
How do I become a new patient?
Please call our office at (206) 299-2676. There is a deposit of $400.00 to schedule a new patient appointment with Dr. Marra. This deposit will be applied to the total fee of your initial appointment. These appointments may last from 1 – 1.5 hours. If you need to reschedule or cancel your new patient appointment, please call the office at (206) 299-2676 at least 3 business days (72 hours) before the scheduled visit. We are closed on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays. For example, if your appointment is on a Friday, you will need to cancel or reschedule earlier in the week on Tuesday to receive a refund on your deposit. Leaving voicemail messages while the office is closed is not considered part of the 3 business days. We understand life happens and we try to be as flexible and accommodating as possible, however, your appointment time is reserved for you and we would appreciate it if as much advance notice is given 72 hours (3 business days) to cancel or reschedule your appointment. If you fail to cancel or reschedule within the appropriate amount of time, your deposit will be not refunded and your insurance company will not cover this fee.
How should I prepare for my first visit with Dr. Marra?
For all new patients, please arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled time. We suggest that you bring a notebook with you to take notes during your 60-90 minute consult, as well as a list of questions that you may have which can be addressed during your appointment. We ask that you please have all 4 of your consent forms filled out to the best of your ability before arriving (New Patient Intake, HIPAA, Informed Consent and Office Guidelines).
For all children under the ages of 18, we require all parents/guardians sign and date each consent form, otherwise Dr. Marra will be unable to see your child and the deposit of $400.00 will not be refunded or covered by your insurance company. Please bring previous labs or documents that you would like to have reviewed by Dr. Marra. Copies of your labs are not necessary as originals will be given back to you at the end of your appointment.
What is the cancellation fee?
Please be mindful when rescheduling or cancelling your appointment. We require at least 48 hours (2 business days) notice to cancel or reschedule your appointment for established patients, and 72 hours (3 business days) for new patients. For example, if your appointment is on a Friday, you will need to notify the office on Tuesday earlier in the week. Please keep in mind that the office is closed on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays. There is no charge for appointments canceled or rescheduled within the appropriate amount of time. A fee of $400.00 will be charged if you decide not to show up, cancel or reschedule without proper notice. Insurance will not cover this fee as it is the patient’s responsibility to maintain appropriate office visits. If you are running late, please give our office a call at (206) 299-2676 to determine whether or not you can keep your appointment.
Do you draw blood in your office?
We do not provide phlebotomy services in the office. All labs must be done at various labs outside of the office. Labs are not included in your consult fee with Dr. Marra. Certain labs will take your insurance. Please call your insurance company for more information about coverage.
